Bad Habits
Humans tend to pick up bad habits, usually to deal with tension. Some habits that hypnosis can be helpful in breaking are:
  • nail biting
  • hair pulling
  • mouth chewing
  • cussing
  • yelling
  • others

If you have tried to consciously change these habits and can't, hypnosis may help you. You will be given substitute behavior that can help you take conscious control of the habit. Many times, there are underlying issues relating to the "need for the habit." These can be explored and lessened to help you make the changes.

Many people seem to think that if a hypnotist "zaps" them once on these things, they will instantly change. Sometimes that's the case, but many times there are underlying stress issues that must be dealt with before long term change is possible. I therefore recommend a minimum of 3 visits, though some issues will require more.
